Julia Ann Putman (Apr 1, 1831 - Feb 13 1896)

 Julia Ann Putman was the daughter of Jahu and Rachel Putman. She married Albert A. Pucket on November 24, 1853)

These three pictures were provided by Joe Sager of Tulsa. He received them from his aunt Louise Lancaster, a granddaughter of Julia. Shortly before Lancaster's death in 1989, at the age of 93, she labeled her old family pictures.

The children of Albert A. Puckett and Julia Ann Putman Puckett gathered for Albert's birthday on the Puckett farmstead, 5 miles east of Rogers on Prairie Creek. It is believed that the picture was taken between 1896 (Julia Puckett's death) and 1900 (Albert's death). Left to right: Kate, Allie, Sallie, Dorinda, Rachel, Mary, John, Joseph and Hugh Puckett. Most of these are buried in a family plot in Rogers Cemetery. A son who died in infancy appears to be buried at the Putman Cemetery. These are the grandchildren of Jahu and Rachel Bond Putman.

Albert Puckett was born in Greenvale Wilson Co., TN. He was the son of Coleman Smith Puckett Sr (May 31, 1799 - unknown) and Elizabeth Allison (Jun 26, 1799) of North Carolina. On Nov 24, 1853 he married Julia Ann Putman. They are both buried in the Rogers Cemetery in Rogers, AR. Albert may have been married before, so that Abbie and Alvis might have been his two older sons, or they may have been his two nephews who he raised and took to Arkansas.
