John Jahu (JJ) Putman (Feb 16, 1866-Dec 24, 1942)
Mary Ann Lee Putman (Oct 10, 1868 - Mar 7, 1959)

John Jahu was the son of William Lester Putman and Charlotte Mabry. He had two brothers, William Henry Putman and Joseph Martin (JM) Putman. He operated the J.J. Putman store in Pea Ridge. He died of an injury when he was struck by one of his cattle. He is buried in the Pea Ridge Cemetery.
John Jahu married Mary Ann Lee daughter of James Carr and Charlotte Lee, pioneer settlers of Pea Ridge. She had three sisters, Mrs. Lettie Pickens, Mrs. Alice Dodson and Mrs. Cliva Kinnan, and one brother, George Lee. Mary Ann Lee died at the age of 90 and was buried in the Pea Ridge Cemetery. They had six children.

    Lottie married John Webb. She is buried in the Pea Ridge Cemetery.

  • William Henry "Bill" (Aug 25, 1891 - Jul 31, 1937)
    William Henry Putman married Edna Swift (Jul 11, 1893 - Nov 22, 1980). He had one daughter. He owned the Putman General Store in Pea Ridge, AR. He died at the age of 45. They are both buried in the Pea Ridge Cemetery.

    Laurene Putman married Dr. Neil Ernest Compton (Aug 1, 1912 - Feb 10, 1999)
