Ellen Compton gave all the records of the Putmans that her mother, Laurene Putman Compton, had when she died in 1990. They are now in The Putman Family Papers, MC 1452 at the University of Arkansas Libraries, Special Collections. These records are open to the public so requests for information can be directed to Special Collections at the e-mail address below. The scan numbers associated with the pictures are this author's personal identification numbers, not the university's numbers. On a few photos, the university's numbers are indicated (i.e. MC 1452, 2-4-1). This page shows only a small portion of the total collection.
